Over the years, I have made so many friends and acquaintance's. I have worked with so many talented, wonderful people, I can’t even imagine how my life would have been had I chosen adifferent career path. I met my husband in
this industry. I feel so connected with the local floral community making my time here so rewarding and fulfilling.
I will close this chapter in my life with memories of years past and reflect on how much impact working in the floral industry has shaped me and who Iam today. Frank Adams and the entire Portland Flower Market wil always have a lasting impression on me. Thanks for al the memories!”

You hand out two bouquets and the recipient gets to keep one and give away one. “petaling” it forward! Tuesday between 7-9 am we will be at the very end of the flower market putting together bouquets, we’ll have donuts and coffee, come by to help out or say hello! On November 3-19, 2023, Lan Su Chinese Garden and the Floral Design Institute will
host the Chrysanthemum Festival Floral Design Showcase. Open to all emerging floral designers and artists, the Floral Design Showcase is a juried floral show with each entry including chrysanthemums as a part of the display. Designs must also include lighting so they can glow during our 3-day nighttime event, Night of the Golden Flowers.

All entries must be received by 5:00 p.m., Saturday Sept 30, 2023.
A designer may submit more than one entry for consideration. However, only one design may
be selected for exhibition. Spaces are limited to 15 participants, so send in your completed application now! Contact us if you need an application!
